Seattle Erotic Art Festival

So this one has been one of the projects I’ve been working on but not the biggest one. I heard about the Seattle Erotic Art Festival last year, just after the show! This year I wanted to be a part of it. There was a submission process and a judging at it looks like at least 5 of my pieces will be shown this year for the event! I am pretty excited and of course we celebrated with steak, wine , and cheese…. and steady orc love. These pieces for this show have never been seen before.

If anyone has the ability to come visit during the festival It would be cool to see you and if there is anyone out in Seattle don’t miss the show!

Hey gang, I know I haven’t posted in a while and I feel bad about it. I still have been working on a big project and haven’t been able to post any of it here. But I got a lot of material and am gonna try to squeeze in some “doodles” if I can. Life is reaching one of those sections where it’s really hard to have time for art. I wanna thank all of you that have kept up the interest over the years. Let’s see if I can post a little bit more over the coming months.

This piece was put together during a photo shoot at a local place, I think the first time I was doing outdoor photography. One of these digital doodles.

Folsom Street Fair

So Monsterbait will be going to Folsom Fair to check things out. I’ve heard about it over the last few years and finally got the oppurtunity to go. I am pretty excited.

This year I wanted to do art there, but for now, I will just be a spectator. I’ll probably be going in leathers or something like that. Maybe even my favorite Uruk-Hai get up!

I know Sean Platter will be there and I can’t wait to see what he’s got cooked up. I will probably try to pick up the latest issue of Demonic Sex.

Hellboy 2

For monster fans this is definitely one movie this summer that you should not miss. Even with disposable income and the economy where it is at today, you should still actually make it to the theater to see this absolute spectacle and masterpiece! Hellboy 2, I think is one of those gems in the sequel world that is better then the first. Move over Terminator 2!

First of all, it’s Hellboy, and Ron Pearlman, and that’s enough demon tastiness alone to go see the movie. But there is also plenty of brand new monsters and Hellboy classics that will get you going and craving more. Abe Sapien of course, a new hot monster named Mr. Wink, and even an entire city filled with creatures.

The studios must have let Guillermo del Toro go all out this time realizing his brilliance on some of his more fantasy oriented films. I am sure I don’t have to mention Pan’s Labyrinth, but also the Devil’s Backbone was really great.

Just the first few sequences will already have you giggling like a school girl and throughout the movie there are plenty of scenes with shirtless monster meat. I will have to tease you with the promise of a shower sequence although short but totally delivering on the fan service. It sucks when you actually have to get up to pee, because you just want to hold it in through the whole show so you don’t miss one second of Hellboy hotness. And you really can’t go one scene without him being there. And if there is a chance that he is out of the shot or the story then it’s going to be Abe Sapien who is also quite handsome.

If you are a big fan of the comics with all the sexiness aside, I think you will also enjoy the Hellboy ride. Some sequences don’t follow the originals of course, but it is fun to see what characters will pop up from the comics.

All in all you should go see this movie, if it’s the only one you do see for the next ten years!

More Predator…

Been watching a lot of movies lately. Lots of cool summer stuff going on Including the sexy and upcoming Hellboy 2. I finally got to see AVP:R which was ok but hey it’s got Pred! So I also I wanted to post a bit of what I have been working on. I have a big project on the way and I wanted to show you guys what my model looks like. So far I have this one but hopefully I can get a few more willing to take it off for the camera. So here is a sampling that’s been predator-ized.

Peon Abuse and the Shopping Cart…

Well me boy’os it’s been a while but I have been busy with work and with art! Things are going nicely but slowly. I got a lot of projects on the horizon and I hope you can have the patience to see whats in store! Precisely what is in store is the store! I am hoping to add a shopping cart and finally offer sales for some of the items here on Monsterbait! Eventually offer a variety of services, but for now we will start with prints. I also have hinted towards publication of a book by the end of the year, but this may be delayed, we will see.

In the meantime I just wanted to post some samples of what I’ve been working on. So now for teaser! Just some shot’s that my Peon and I have taken during a nice long session of Peon abuse!

Predator Peon

Sometimes Predators go on the hunt only to become the prey! This is inspired by a lot of the fine works of Kupopo! He always seems to turn the tables on monsters and characters’ that upon first glance’ would be the kind of intimidating guys you would expect to grab and ravage you. Instead some of these beasts like it the other way around!

For all of you tops out there, on the those days you’re feeling super slutty. Try a little role reversal! It’s great!

This one was put together pretty quickly, considering all the things that were going wrong in Photoshop, but on a day where everything was going wrong it came out alright in the end.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to say thank you for everyone that’s been commenting on Monsterbait, it really means a lot to me when you guys do so! Also I just wanted to say that if you don’t see your posts right away, it’s because there is always a ton of spam coming through so I have to filter a lot of it manually. Once you are approved however, you don’t have to worry from that point on.

Also it may have taken me a while to do this because I just got back from a very nice vacation in France! Now that I am back with rampant abandon, I hope to have some new art over the next few weeks! There’s a lot of stuff I need to take care of at home though. The place is a mess and still not really moved in. Decorating isn’t in my gene pool so it’s hard!

As for France, it’s absolutely stunning. I have been visiting a lot lately and one day I would like to live there for more than a few weeks, try the art scene out there and see how my work goes over! I took a lot of photographs with my peon and got a lot of nice stuff. Even some sexy stuff! I’ll try to post a few things when I have the time!
